MemoSync is a tiny little utility to synchronize the contents of Memopad with an external card. I've found two reasons why i need this:
MemoSync requires an external card (memory stick, SD, etc) and will write and read ASCII .txt files in the
\PALM\MemoSync directory. All files on card use Windows style CRLF line endings.
That's it. The results of the operation will be listed below the operation you selected, with a scrollbar if necessary. These results will show each file that was touched, along with one of the following symbols to indicate the change, any failures will be tagged with <Failed>:
» A new file was created
> An existing file was modified
× An existing file was deleted
|Synchronise New||Copies all files in Memopad but not on the Card onto the Card and copies all files on the Card but not in Memopad into Memopad|
|New From MemoPad||Copies all files in Memopad but not on the Card onto the Card|
|New From Card||Copies all files on the Card but not in Memopad into Memopad|
|Clone MemoPad||Turns the Card into a duplicate of Memopad adding, changing and deleting files as necessary|
|Clone Card||Turns Memopad into a duplicate of the Card adding, changing and deleting files as necessary|
I intend to keep MemoSync up to date with bug fixes and will eventually issue a release rather than beta version, but I'm not planning to add any significant new capabilities. Below is the current list of known bugs, if you find anything that is not on here, send me an email and let me know, Thanks.
|1||No bugs yet known|
|1.0.2 Beta||Initial Release|
