The pictures above demonstrate the logo scaled to different sizes. Click here here to download the SVG file.
The logo is provided in scaled vector graphics format, the open standard for images that can be resized without losing quality. I would ask that the aspect ratio (i.e. the ratio of width to height) of the image is not changed otherwise the lines will become distorted.
I am happy to perform tweaks or generate additional formats and special versions that work better at smaller scales or different aspect ratios if that is helpful.
Version 2.0 is a recreation of the original logo from scratch using Inkscape. I worked from new photos including a few from further away and these helped get a more accurate perspective on the taller features. Note that in particular the tower is much taller and is now the highest feature on the logo. I can reduce it again if preferred. The tail on the fish is trimmed square and the fish is not quite as black as the church, but I beleive both of these points were also true on early copies of the original.
As with version 1, this is still a stylised representation; features are more evenly spaced on the logo than on the actual church.
I created the original logo using Calamus on an Atari ST. Although I still have a couple of files from that era I've hunted through them all and unfortunately the original is lost to the mists of time.
